The FP Black™ turbocharger for the Subaru WRX/STI features the 82mm HTZ™ compressor section with our 84MM Flow Advancement Port™ compressor cover coupled to the 10cm2 turbine section. This combo nearly maxes out the stock location possibilities on this platform. The FP Black™ flows 71LB a minute and is capable of producing upwards of 575WHP. Internal gate Subaru turbos are available with either the stock canister style 15 PSI actuator, or you can upgrade to an 18 PSI TiAL MVI actuator.
In addition to the things you know and love about the journal bearing Black, this unit utilizes our Xona Ball Bearing CHRA for increased durability in situations where you might see low oil flow such as road racing or autocross applications. Subaru XR turbos have an M12x1.25 oil inlet in the bearing housing, allowing use of our Subaru Oil Feed line.
