Hawk Blue 9012 compound pads are for the dedicated race/track Subaru only. Hawk's 9012s utilize a medium/high torque and high temperature compound optimized for repeated heavy braking associated with track use. Tracked Subarus equipped with the Hawk Blues will see consistent, fade-free braking, but they do take some time to get up to temperature and will make lots of noise and dust (not that you care when you're on the track!).
